Wireframe

  • W Wireframe

A wireframe is a critical part of the UX/UI design process. It’s a plan of a website, created to help stakeholders visualize how their website will look and function before it’s fully designed. The wireframe will include all the elements of the website, such as menus, navigation, content areas, and more. It’s also a great way to get approval from the stakeholders on the structure of the website before the final look and feel is determined.

Wireframes are usually created using specialized wireframing software, but they can also be done by hand. Once the wireframe is approved, it’s used as a guideline for the actual website build.

A wireframe can elicit approval on website structure before a more time-intensive high fidelity mockup.
