Matt serves as the President of Atlantic BT, bringing a remarkably warm, personable approach and a steady sense of calm to the enterprise tech world. As the first point of contact for clients, Matt is known for his easygoing demeanor and his ability to make complex technical transitions feel smooth, collaborative, and entirely stress-free.

His deep understanding of the business comes from growing up with the company. Matt joined Atlantic BT as a Web Developer in 2008, moved into leadership as VP of Technology in 2014, and stepped into the role of President in 2019. Having walked in the shoes of the engineers he now leads, he guides the team with genuine empathy and a grounded, reassuring presence; traits that kept everyone steady and connected even during the uncertainty of the pandemic.

He began his technology career in a particle physics lab; an experience that permanently reshaped his approach to problem-solving. He loves deconstructing massive software and systems puzzles into their atomic pieces, figuring out how to build them back better for clients. When he’s not talking tech, Matt is usually out fishing with his kids, playing a round of golf, exploring Canada’s nature, or catching a live local concert.
