Civic Federal Credit Union is a digital-first financial services firm serving North Carolina’s local government employees and their families. It was the first newly chartered all digital comprehensive credit union in the United States.

The Ask

Civic Federal Credit Union recognizes the importance of consistent banking website maintenance and improvements. As one of Atlantic BT’s retainer clients, our Drupal developers work with Civic FCU to determine specific goals for their website for the year. Such as, improving the user experience for their application process, simplifying content, and reorganizing the site’s navigation. Banking Website Maintenance Process

Discovery

Atlantic BT’s Drupal developers began with a discovery process, including several website audits to evaluate performance and find areas for improvements. We created custom loan calculators for auto, personal and debt consolidation.

Development

We developed a Salesforce integration between their webforms and customer data.

We ensured compliance with accessibility standards, implemented WebP to improve site speed

Design

We undertook a full site redesign, improving everything from the homepage to the annual meeting information pages. As part of this large-scale project, we revamped the loan application process, enhanced the main navigation with newly designed mega menus, and added new pages as needed.

Delight

A contractual partnership between Civic Federal Credit Union and Atlantic BT means an always evolving and improving digital experience for Civic’s members. With an upgraded instance of Drupal, the Civic team is now able to take ownership of some of their design and build site goals and make minor content changes on their own. It also means having our Drupal Developers on standby for their live annual membership meeting, which is the most important event of the year for Civic FCU.
