Infrastructure Migration

Infrastructure migration is the process of moving an existing website, application, or system from its current hosting to an external cloud provider like Amazon Web Services (AWS). The goal of infrastructure migration is to improve performance, scalability, and cost savings while ensuring the security of data and applications. Infrastructure migration could be considered a hardware or systems migration equivalent to the software-related content and data migrations.

The process of infrastructure migration involves assessing the existing infrastructure, mapping to the new environment, and testing and deploying the migrated solution. Additionally, the process includes setting up security policies, configuring access control, and optimizing performance for the cloud platform. 

Once the migration is complete, the organization can benefit from the flexibility and scalability of the cloud platform, as well as the cost savings that come with it. Infrastructure migration can be a complex process, but it can also be one of the best investments an organization can make.
