Leads drop off
- I just had a new website designed and for a while I was getting more leads than I ever got before the new site. Now, I’m hardly getting any at all. What can I do?
The first thing you will want to do is make sure that your new website is being properly indexed by search engines. If the new site is staying on the same domain, you should have no problem getting re-indexed, as long as your new website is search engine friendly and that your old site was being indexed.
Secondly, if possible, you want to check your analytics to see what keywords you were showing up for in search engines. Analyze the search engine traffic, see which keywords are bringing in the most traffic, and optimize the new site similar to the older site.
Lastly, you want to make sure that the new site is easy to use and converts similarly to the old site. If the old site was getting a lot of leads you may want to keep the same navigation/site structure because it was bringing in leads.
