Considering Cheap SEO Solutions
- I keep getting e-mails that say they can get me #1 rankings on Google for $150. I am currently paying a lot more than that. This sounds like a good deal, do I have anything to lose by giving it a try?
Yes, like most products and services you get what you pay for, and in the world of search engine optimization an investment $150 is relatively modest. SEO providers that promise to deliver #1 ranking on Google are unethically making claims in order to obtain your business, with potentially little regard to the long term success of your website. Providers of this nature often times use spam techniques including linking from “bad neighborhoods” which could harm the credibility and ranking of your website. In fact, it should be an immediate red flag when a SEO company makes the claim they can procure the #1 spot on Google particularly for a competitive keyword phrase. Additionally, legitimate SEO companies will not have to resort to unsolicited email to obtain business as they are most likely are generating relevant traffic their own website.
