From California to Ohio to Georgia to Connecticut, I finally landed in North Carolina which has been my home now for 30 years.   Did I really just say 30 years?  I bet right now you are trying to figure out how old I am.  Anyway……it seems like it was just yesterday and quite honestly, the best decision I ever made.  I met my husband of almost 25 years and have 2 of the best kids ever, Ashley and Will.   They’re not really kids anymore but rather young adults.  There you go again, trying to figure out how old I am. 

I have been in the Accounting field for more than 12 years now and absolutely love it.  I worked in the private sector for all but 3 of those years at which time I was at a public accounting firm. I prefer private and feel very fortunate to have found ABT as my new home for many years to come.

I keep very busy with projects around the house.  I can be found most weekends doing yard work, painting, decorating, or helping my husband with his latest renovation...with the exception of when there is a NCSU home football game.  Dogs are a staple in our home and always will be.  Sampson, Charlie Bob and Bailey bring us joy and laughter every day.   Most accountants (at least those I have been around) are quiet, have difficulty in social situations and pretty much keep to themselves.  Once you get to know me, you will find that I am not your typical accountant.
