I am a husband to an environmental scientist and a parent of two dogs that never let us sleep in on the weekend (but we forgive them).  I love sports; I will watch pretty much any athletic event (and yes, curling counts), but I think that's partly because it gives me an excuse to eat copious amounts of ribs and chicken wings.  I do play football and ultimate frisbee occasionally, but my newest interest is scuba-diving. 

I was destined to work in the computer field; both my parents worked for IBM, and as a kid I could always be found building computers, making websites, and playing video games.  I'm a North Carolinian at heart (Go Tarheels!), but I was born in Seoul, South Korea and lived in Poughkeepsie, New York until 1995.
