You could call me a hybrid. I am a mixed breed of design and technology.

Growing up, I loved art and enjoyed drawings and paintings (still do!). If it weren't for Microsoft Paint (old school), I may have never had the curiosity to mix design with technology. If it weren't for Adobe Photoshop, I may have never considered this to be my career. My inspiration for design comes just about anything.

Outside of my passion for design, I enjoy watching the latest movies, playing video games, and shooting basketball with friends. Oh, and as for sports, you can guarantee I'll be rooting on my alma mater, Appalachian State (the ONLY school in NC to win a Division 1 National Championship in football – by the way, we have 3 if you're counting!). Go Mountaineers!

Mark has a solid background in both print design and web design. Mark graduated with a MA in Industrial Technology and a BS in Graphics Arts and Imaging Technology from Appalachian State University. Mark is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Adobe Dreamweaver and has years of expertise in the Adobe software.  He is also very proficient with Photoshop and PHP development (Wordpress and ExpressionEngine CMS).  In his largest role, he was the Webmaster for the Department of Technology at ASU. He also published a thesis in mobile web design de-facto standards on the Apple iPhone. His focus is on strong web standards, usability, accessibility, and aesthetics.
