I grew up in a small town called Chagrin Falls, Ohio.  I am very close with my family, all of whom still live in Ohio. Luckily, I still get to see them quite often. Thanks to my sister, I am a VERY proud aunt and godmother of the two cutest little boys on the planet! Being from the Cleveland area, I have a natural dislike for snow... and would you believe that some people even say I'm a tad bitter with Lebron James? (GO MAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I graduated from Miami University (of Ohio....yes, it exists) with a B.S. in Management Information Systems, and started my career in commercial printing. I may be from Ohio, but I've always been a Carolina girl at heart. So, after a few years in the printing industry, I decided to "take my talents" to Hilton Head Island, SC. I worked in Marketing for a residential real estate company, and spent my spare time with my toes in the sand.  I left that Island with a tan, a lot of memories, and some really great friends. I moved to NC in early 2010, yet I still have no idea how to get anywhere around here. Thank goodness for GPS apps or I'd never make it anywhere. I've always lived in small towns, so this area is a bit overwhelming for me - but I'm learning, and loving it! Now I just need to get my family to move down here... that's still a work in progress. When I'm not at work, I can usually be found baking cookies, out and about with friends, visiting family, shopping, watching scary movies, in front of my MacBook, or at the beach.
