I was born at a very early age in Syracuse, New York, and spent the first 15 years of my life in the small, friendly, quiet town of Manlius, NY. Most of New York State is actually filled with farm land, small towns and mountains… not at all like NYC! I then moved up and down the East Coast… Atlanta for 3 years, Richmond (for college – go Spiders!) and beyond, Massachusetts, and six different towns in Connecticut, until good fortune – and a great job with Atlantic BT – brought me to beautiful, sunny North Carolina. My wife and 3 kids are looking forward to enjoying all the good things that NC has to offer.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved playing sports – actually, competitions of any kind. Basketball, lacrosse, track, tennis, horseshoes, pool (billiards), darts, football, dodge ball, card games, bowling, wiffle ball, board games, “See who can chuck the ball, left-handed and backwards, between the rails on the deck into the yard the farthest”… you name it, I’m game. I’m always up for a good-natured competition with plenty of joking/trash talking, of course. Just not Foosball… at least not yet – the guys here are in a different stratosphere. They actually pass the ball back and forth, with ease and at an unreal pace mind you, between the different little players! I have some catching up to do… One of my competitive achievements came in college – I beat out 25 other guys to enter a half-time slam dunk contest (at 6’0”), and I finished in 2nd place. The winner was 6’10”, but that still gnaws at me when I think about it… in my mind, I think the judges must’ve been bribed!

Born to an engineer (my dad) and a creative type (my mom), I had a unique upbringing that I think really helps me in my job today. To an engineer, there is ONE and only one right way to do anything – whether it’s fixing the headlight of a car, painting every room in your house, building a tiered structure around a backyard pool, even stirring spaghetti sauce. If you did the job the right way, your results will show it. To a creative type, there’s many ways to get positive results, and each can be great in their own unique way.

I see that influence in how I approach Internet Marketing – there are many creative ways to achieve business goals online – but there is one right way to approach each strategy – with focused effort, research, and informed decisions – and the results are seen in goals achieved that are tracked by reliable analytics.
