Meet Eileen Allen

I have a great appreciation for the arts, whether it’s gallery hopping in Chelsea, NY or attending Artsplosure annual festival in downtown Raleigh. I fancy photography, b&w photo darkrooms, and making interactive art installations (see Max/MSP). School provided me with an outlet to learn new concepts, techniques, and explore and refine my ideas. I received my BFA in Photography from the University of Florida (Only school EVER to have reigning Men's Basketball and Football Champions in the same school year!—Go Gators!). I followed this up with a MFA in Computer Graphics from Syracuse University. Yes I know, I did the questionable jump from the sunny beaches of Florida to Blizzard Country, but you have to be open to new experiences. It was a great experience nonetheless. We did get to travel quite a bit including to our most favorite place to visit—New York City.

Outside of the digital realm, my time is well spent with my dear husband and my beautiful daughter. I really enjoy listening to music, going to shows, dancing, whitewater rafting (this is new) and learning new things. I am surprisingly good at playing pool; at least I like to pretend I am. My imagination provides me with this luxury.

I love my job, and working with an extremely talented group of individuals day in and out makes my job that much more rewarding.

As creative director, Eileen oversees all design staff and manages creative projects from concept to completion. She earned her BFA in Photography from the University of Florida and her MFA in Computer Art from Syracuse University. In her 10 years of experience, she has gained advanced knowledge in design using the latest graphic / web software and related programming with a strong focus in usability and web standards.
