Meet Curtis Martin
I was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, also known as the Miniature Golf Capital of the World. When the time came to attend college, I left the beach for the countryside of Clemson, and I ended up completing my degree at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. After spending a few years doing IT work there, I have finally ended up in Raleigh. I'm definitely glad to be here!
My mobile programming career began once I bought a Droid after deciding that Verizon would not be getting the iPhone anytime soon (hey, it still took awhile). I've been loving Android development ever since. It's amazing how these devices have impacted our culture in the past few years, and I enjoy the opportunity to write apps that can make life a little easier for people.
I am a geek at heart, and when I'm not programming or reading up on the latest tech news, I'm probably working through my extensive backlog of video games or watching a movie. Time and season permitting, I also enjoy camping and hiking. If you're out and about, you might also catch me enjoying some of the local pub fare.
