I am an avid learner who has found Raleigh, N.C. to be a great environment for pursuing my career goals and personal interests. When I'm not exploring the latest and greatest web technologies, I like to spend my time relaxing and getting my hands dirty. I like to be outdoors as much as possible, whether that entails taking my dog for a walk at the park (this area has a plethora of great parks and lakes) or sitting out on the patio observing the none-too-shy wildlife. Since my early teens, I've always had an extensive collection of tropical and subtropical plants; orchids, bromeliads, ferns and succulents - you name it, I've probably grown it. I also have a number of freshwater fish tanks, and I'm currently suffering from killifish fever.

Brian has both a BS and MS in Computer Science from UNC-Greensboro where he focused his studies on on discrete mathematics, bioinformatics and artificial intelligence. After graduating, he turned his attention towards web application development, where he enjyos the challenge of the ever-changing technology landscape. Brian has worked with many clients, ranging from small start-ups and non-profits to large Fortune 500 companies. He has focused his skills on PHP development, but also has experience with Flash, C++ and Java.
