Meet Andrew Wirtanen
I am straight outta Cape Cod, but I actually don’t sail yachts or ride on horses; Though, I do really enjoy seafood, mini golf, kayaking, going to the beach and every Boston sports team (especially the Sox). I went to college at RIT in Rochester, New York, where I learned to love buffalo wings, college hockey and foosball. I also learned that I do not enjoy ice storms. After graduating, I moved to the Boston area where I went to grad school (Bentley University) and began my career in UX.
I migrated south to Raleigh in 2008. I’m a big fan of downtown Raleigh, and I live ITB (that’s “inside the beltline”). I try my best at softball, running, biking, golf and disc golf, but I haven’t quite mastered any one of those. I love being only a couple of hours from the beach and a few hours from the mountains. When I’m not camped out in front of my TV or laptop, you’ll find me out at a concert, baseball game or at an awesome local restaurant.
