You Know You're A Content Curator When...
Content Curation isn’t limited to a particular skill set or tools and all kinds of people are jumping in to share their curatorial ideas on Facebook, Twitter and many other communities, so you are a content curator if you share ideas and links on your favorite movies, restaurants, products, art, web sites or anything. You probably already are a content curator and don’t even realize it.
The *411 On Content Curations
Quality content is so abundant a new skill is being honed. Content Curation uses new tools such as Scoop.it, Hunch, Pinterest and “old” tools such as blogs, email and content management systems (CMS) to organize the web’s boundless content around important themes. Our contest seeks to thank hard working content curators, identify some of the top content curators helping to define this exciting new skill set and develop an annual content curation event.

Contest Terms
Atlantic BT’s Content Curation Contest was created as a fun contest of skill to provide reward for hard working content curators. Applicants to the Content Curation Contest agree to only submit links they curate. If you know great content curators please encourage them to submit their work personally to the Content Curation Contest. Atlantic BT asserts no ownership over any material submitted as part of the Content Curation Contest. Content Curators submitting links agree to Atlantic BT’s ability to use their name and email as curator of the material provided in a Content Curation Contest application (screen names can be created if privacy is a concern). Atlantic BT trusts in links and information provided. If fraudulent links or votes are submitted they breach this agreement and will be removed from the contest. Atlantic BT will use a sophisticated voting algorithm to review voting patterns to prevent scripting and voting fraud. Atlantic BT asserts no copyright over materials curated by Content Curation contestants. Atlantic BT and will try, to the best of our ability, to notify holders of © that their material has been included and correctly trademarked as part of the Content Curation Contest. Since the very nature of content curation tends toward mashing up content from many sources full notification of all parties whose intellectual property is included may not be possible. Applicants agree to not use © material that is prohibited from the kind of curation included in the Content Curation Contest. Atlantic BT agrees, if contacted by © holders or their representatives, to provide specific relief including noting companies, brands or products as holding particular copyright or removing material at the request of the legal © holders or their representatives. Atlantic BT will make every effort to work with holders of © to provide benefit within trademark usage guidelines.
