In the Community

The primary company value at Atlantic BT is, “We care about people.”  When our company was brainstorming while discussing values, there was some initial discussion around the table about how this value fits with other values related to our work and ethics. Our founder, Jon Jordan, said “First and most important, we care about people. Everything else comes second. This value is not open for discussion. It will always come first.”

We enjoy giving our time and resources generously, and we salute those organizations full of people who make it their life’s work to help others in need. Here are a few organizations we have helped:

Habitat For Humanity

The concept that grew into Habitat for Humanity International was born at Koinonia Farm, a small, interracial, Christian community outside of Americus, Georgia. Koinonia Farm was founded in 1942 by farmer and biblical scholar Clarence Jordan (our founder/CEO’s grandfather).

Band Together

Band Together raises money for deserving organizations from one giant concert each year plus many other smaller events, all centered around music. We have been fortunate enough to be a part of this wonderful organization with incredible energy. In just the last few years, its impact to our community has been tremendous, raising nearly $1.5 Million.

Atlantic BT and NovelProjects (acquired by Atlantic BT) have contributed more than $50,000 of in-kind services in recent years, including a redesign of the Band Together website.

Atlantic BT “Gives Back” $25,000 Mobile Grant

We launched a nationwide contest to find the non-profit who could best benefit from our expert mobile services. After dozens of entries and nearly 15,000 votes, the finalists were selected to pitch to a live audience who will choose the ultimate winner.
