Atlantic BT is seeking a dedicated hardworking web developer
to join our team. The web developer will be responsible for
producing creative web designs, making client website updates,
graphic creation and e-newsletter design. Responsibilities may
change over time based on the needs of the company and on the
employee's skills and interests. Applicants should be energetic
and personable with excellent organization skills and high attention
to detail. We offer a fun, relaxed environment with many opportunities
to learn.
Atlantic BT is a fast-growing web development/hosting/marketing
company focused on small to medium sized businesses. The success
of our business is dependent on keeping our clients well-informed
and happy. We are looking for someone who will help maintain
the high level of service our clients have come to expect. Our
business hours are Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30.
Requirements
- Minimum experience 1+ year
- Possess strong design and layout skills for the web
- Ability to produce well designed, professional looking business websites
- Proficiency with Graphics software (Photoshop, ImageReady,
Fireworks, etc.)
- Comprehensive understanding of HTML (Dreamweaver) and
search engines
- Error-free attention to detail
- Must possess a good understanding of the Internet
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- In-depth experience with Microsoft Word
- Dependable and professional
- Motivated, quick learner
- Minimum 2 yr degree or 2 yrs of college
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to recognize tasks that need to be completed and
willingness to take responsibility for them
- Must provide live samples of web work or link to portfolio
Additional Skills (desired)
- Experience with dynamic web sites (ASP, PHP, JSP, Cold
Fusion etc.)
- Experience using Macromedia Flash to create interactive animations
- Knowledge with ActionScripting
